Steven Wright is CharityVillage's Sales Manager.
Steven is passionate about the non profit sector, and has over 18 years experience working in and with the sector.
He was introduced to the sector through participating in the Junior Achievement high school program, and volunteering for the Huron's Gymnastic Club. While attending Ryerson University he was heavily involved in Student Services, Residence Life and Student Government. Steven developed and facilitated diversity workshops through many Ontario University Residences.
After graduation, Steven found all of his employment opportunities on Charity Village. He worked as the Special Event Manager for Junior Achievement of Toronto and Business Development Manager for Harbourfront Centre before joining the Charity Village Team. Steven is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the Canadian Society of Association Executives. He enjoys staying connected to the sector by attending many conferences and events each year.
In his spare time you can find Steven traveling Europe with his camera in hand, enjoying fresh local food and European coffee. He has exhibited photographs of his travel in the annual Contact Photography Festival in Toronto. He also donates prints to SNAP to benefit the AIDS Committee of Toronto. Steven enjoys entertaining, cooking, architecture, design and spending time with Mary, his Staffordshire Terrier mix, who joined the family from the Toronto Humaine Society.
