Meet Tracy Marsh
![]()
Since 1985, Tracy has worked primarily in the not-for-profit cultural sector in Ontario. Most of her early career was spent in professional heritage organizations, from a small, private art gallery on Georgian Bay to municipal and county museums. Early on, Tracy developed a passion for social, community and industrial history. Some career highlights from this period include bringing together veterans from across the globe who had sailed on the same World War II corvette, co- authoring a book on a Canadian boat-building family, and dressing like a notorious Canadian siren for a celebration of villains in history.
For the eight years prior to joining CharityVillage.com, Tracy worked for the Department of Canadian Heritage, in the Ontario Region. During most of that period, she managed two grants programs delivered to the cultural sector. Most recently, she held the role of Corporate Services Manager, leading the Human Resources, Finance and Information Management/Information Technology units.
Tracy has two smart and beautiful daughters, and one somewhat neurotic tabby cat. They all reside in Toronto in a very groovy neighbourhood.
When it's time to relax, you might find Tracy covered in mud in the back garden, searching for a new full- bodied red wine to taste, or going for a walk to discover another area of Toronto.
Say hello to Tracy today at tracy@charityvillage.com.
