How do I delete a listing from the database?

Caution: Are you sure you want to delete a listing? Deleting will completely and permanently remove it from the database. It won't be available to you for reactivating or re-posting as a new listing with changes at some future date and CharityVillage staff won't be able to retrieve it for you.

If you wish to pause a listing (i.e. not displayed publicly), but still have it available to you in your account, read the instructions for pausing a listing.

If you really want to delete the listing, here's how:

  1. Login to your advertiser account
  2. Find the listing you want to delete, click the "Select" menu and click the "Pause" link.
  3. Leave the listing in the Paused folder until it has expired and moves automatically into the "Expired" folder.
  4. When a link is in the "Expired" folder, click the "Select" menu and click the the "Delete" link.
  5. Confirm that you really want to delete the listing and it will be deleted from the database.
