Logos in your Logo Library are limited to 20K in file size and must
be in either .gif or .jpg format. The maximum display size of an
logo is 500 pixels wide, by 150 high. Logos exceeding these
criteria will be automatically rejected by the system.
To determine your logo file size, follow these instructions:
For Windows PCs:
- Navigate to the folder that contains the logo you want to
upload.
- Highlight the file name (click once, not twice).
- Right click and select "Properties" from the pop up menu.
- A window will pop up with a field that reads "Size: x K on disk."
x is the size of the file that you are planning to upload.
For Macs:
- Navigate to the folder that contains the logo you want to upload.
- Highlight the file name (click once, not twice).
- Click CMD (Apple key) + i, or under the "File" menu, select "Get
Info...", then "General Information".
- A window will pop up with a field that reads "Size: x K on disk."
x is the size of the file that you are planning to upload.
What if my file is too big?
There are many reasons why your logo file may be too large to use on
our system. You may have to shrink the display size of the logo, or
reduce the logo resolution. The standard logo resolution for web
display, is 72 dpi.
To reduce the size of a logo file, you will need to use an
logo editing software program such as Photoshop, CorelDraw, or
Fireworks. Contact your system administrator for help if you don't
have access to logo editing software.
You may post an ad without a logo. For other help uploading your logos, please contact the HelpDesk.
