How do I turn on javascript?

To enjoy all of the features of the CharityVillage web site, you need to use a javascript-compatible browser. It's quick and simple to turn on the javascript feature and it will allow you to use our new pull down menus to navigate the site more quickly.

For instructions on how to enable JavaScript with the most common browsers, click on the appropriate link below.

    1. Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.x
    2. Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.x
    3. Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.x
    4. Netscape Navigator 3.x
    5. Netscape Communicator 4.x

  1. Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.x
    Javascrips are on automatically in Internet Explorer 3.x and 4.x. If you want to confirm that they are enabled:
    1. Open the "View" menu and pick "Options".
    2. Click on the "Security" tab.
    3. Click to check mark "Run ActiveX scripts"

  2. Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.x
    Javascrips are on automatically in Internet Explorer 3.x and 4.x. If you want to confirm that they are enabled:
    1. Open the "Edit" menu and select "Preferences."
    2. In the preferences window, click on "Web Browser" settings.
    3. Under the web browser settings, you'll see a section named "Web content".
    4. Check the "Enable scripting" box.

  3. Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.x
    Javascrips are on automatically in Internet Explorer 3.x and up. If you want to confirm that they are enabled:
    1. Open the "Edit" menu and select "Preferences."
    2. In the preferences window, click on "Web Browser" settings.
    3. Under the web browser settings, you'll see a section named "Web content". Click on "Web content"
    4. On the right side of the window, you will see a section called "Active Content" Check the "Enable scripting" box under this heading.

  4. Netscape Navigator 3.0x
    To confirm that JavaScript is enabled in Navigator 3.0:
    1. Under the "Options" menu, click on "Network Preferences."
    2. In the "Preferences" window, click on the "Languages" tab
    3. Click "Enable JavaScript."
    4. Click "OK".

  5. Netscape Communicator 4.0x
    1. Under the "Edit" menu, click on "Preferences."
    2. In the "Preferences" window, click on the "Advanced" tab
    3. Click "Enable JavaScript."
    4. Click "OK".
