The national repository of data on the nonprofit sector in the United States. It is a program of the Urban Institute's Center on Nonprofits and Philanthropy, and its mission is to develop and disseminate high quality data on nonprofit organizations and their activities.

The Career Development Association of Alberta is an incorporated society and professional association of career development practitioners interested in supporting each other in practice by networking, information sharing, creating learning opportunities, and staying current within a developing field.
The Career Management Association of BC is a professional association serving career development practitioners in BC. CMA exists to identify and move forward the interests and needs of organizations, associations and practitioners impacted by career development, career management and career information.

Managers of Volunteer Resources (MVR) is the professional association in Southern Alberta dedicated to promoting high standards of competence in the management of volunteer resources. They hold monthly meetings for members, as well as an annual one-day workshop.
The purpose of MAVA is to unite individuals involved in the administration of volunteer services and programs, promote the profession, and provide networking and professional development opportunities.

Originally an association for volunteer managers in the health care field, NLAVR now provides avenues for networking, support and ongoing education relating to volunteer management for its members, professionals from nonprofits across the province.
NEOFPA advances philanthropy by enabling people and organizations to practice ethical and effective fundraising. Its core activities include education, training, mentoring, and advocacy. NEOFPA is committed to providing high-quality services to meet the needs and exceed the expectations of its members and other constituents.

PAVR-O was formed in 1998 as a merger of OAVA (Ontario Association for Volunteer Administration) and ODVH (Ontario Directors of Volunteers in Healthcare). The Regional Association of Coordinators of Volunteers (RACV) is committed to developing, promoting and supporting professional excellence among those individuals empowered with the management of volunteers in Hamilton-Wentworth region of Ontario.
