  Alcohol Babies Anonymous provides confidential support to families affected by prenatal alcohol brain injuries (FASD). • Bob Rumball Centre for the Deaf

  Located in Toronto, the mission of the centre is to provide opportunities for a higher quality of life for deaf people while preserving and promoting their language and culture.   The mission of Breakfast for Learning is to ensure that every child goes to school well nourished and ready to learn. • Calgary Fetal Alcohol Network (Local: Calgary, AB)

  The Calgary Fetal Alcohol Network is a committee comprised of a group of key stakeholders whose mission is to develop FASD resources and initiatives for supporting communities, families and individuals. They offer mentoring programs, the Circle of Friends youth program, and organize FASD Day in Calgary.

• Camp Awakening (Regional: Toronto, ON)

  Camp Awakening is a registered charity that operates residential camp programs for children ages 9 to 18 with physical disabilities. As a charity, they also raise funds to assist parents in covering the costs of the two programs.

• Camp Jubilee

  Works to provide a quality summer camp experience for all children. We find sponsorship for over 80% of the children attending our summer camp. The camp is located 30 minutes from Vancouver by boat up beautiful Indian Arm.

• Camp Jumoke (National: Toronto, ON)

  Jumoke (pronounced Joo-MOH-keh) is a Nigerian word which means "Everyone Loves The Child." Camp Jumoke was founded in 1994 and is dedicated to enriching the lives of children who have Sickle Cell Disease (SCD). In its first year of operation, 40 children attended the camp for two weeks.

• Camp Moomba (National: Vancouver, BC)

  Established in 1997, Camp Moomba is a specialized summer camp program for kids age 6 - 17 who are impacted by HIV/AIDS. Many of the children that attend Camp Moomba are confronted by similar issues in their lives, many live in difficult socio-economic situations. By coming together each year they are able to find the type of support that can only come from understanding.

• Camp Quality

  A charitable organization of volunteers who provide a one week summer camp session for children with cancer (active disease or in remission) free of charge and year-round activities free to camper and his family.

• Camp Winston

  Camp Winston operates a residential recreational summer programme for campers diagnosed with complex Tourette syndrome, obsessive compulsive disorder, attention deficit (hyperactivity) disorder, learning disabilities and autism. Camp Winston also provides behaviour management and skills workshops and various weekend retreats.

• Canada World Youth

  CWY has been providing young people with exciting international educational and work placement opportunities for nearly 30 years. Programs provide young people with an opportunity to learn about other cultures and ways of life, to explore community and international development issues first hand and to acquire practical work experience. More than 1,000 young people from some 20 countries take part in our programs every year.

  The mission of the CCCF is to improve the quality of child care services for Canadian families by providing information to, and facilitating networking, among a broad range of target groups and supporting initiatives that increase their skill, expertise and awareness in support of an improved quality of child care services.

• Canadian Children's Opera Company (CCOC) (National: Toronto, ON)

  The CCOC is a permanent children's opera company in Canada that commissions and produces operas for children on a regular basis. The company regularly collaborates and performs with other leading arts organizations, such as the Toronto Symphony Orchestra.

• Gatehouse, The

  Survivors of abuse need a safe pace to tell their stories. The Gatehouse is a two-story Victorian house lovingly restored by Toronto's Lakeshore community in order to provide a place for survivors of abuse to do so. Police and Children's Aid workers use our interview room to videotape the testimony of children who have been abused. Youth and adult survivors of abuse also access the house and the various support groups. We will also offer an adult male survivors group and a parent peer support group. Clients can also access individual counselling when appropriate and all in need benefit from our food bank. We are supported by a 200 member volunteer base and a committed community of friends. The Gatehouse, a safe place where everyone has a voice.

  Since 1984 we have been working with youth, helping them make the transition into the world of work, and with employers, assisting them in finding new employees. We offer a variety of programs and services to assist youth in finding jobs and there is absolutely no cost associated with these services and programs.

  Provides free employment information and job search assistance to youth, including employment counselling, job search workshops, community presentations, direct marketing services, and client advocacy services for youth.

  A nonprofit, community organization that delivers English-language job search and self-employment services to Quebecers. Our job search program is open to those aged 16 to 35 years, while our entrepreneurship program is open to all ages.

  Helps youth 16-24 years old who are out of school and out of work. We also have a program for adults 25 and over, as well as a Youth Business Centre for youth under 30 years of age to start and run their own business at minimal cost. Some of the free services YES provides include: faxing, internet, phone, voicemail, resume & cover letter help, job searching advice, and one-on-one career counselling.

  The organization's mission is to inspire, to motivate, to educate, to foster self esteem within challenged and disadvantaged youths. This mission is accomplished through the provision of airplane flights to children who need opportunities for participation and a realization of the accomplishments they are capable of. Flights take place from community airports across Canada. The organization is 100% volunteer operated and is a registered Canadian charity.
