In this role you will develop and implement strategies to support the University’s alumni engagement, prospect research, prospect tracking, and data analysis programs. You will be specifically responsible for presenting data integral to the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of alumni, corporations, foundations, and friends; setting strategic direction; conducting proactive prospect research; initiating and managing data analytic projects related to internal and external data sources, with a special focus on modelling projects identifying trends and prospects supporting the University's strategic planning initiatives. You will lead a team of prospect researchers to successfully deliver this value added information and analysis that support the fundraising and campaign efforts. You will manage special projects, including supporting governance recruitment initiatives as well as slate development for University awards.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will bring the following:

A University degree, in business, commerce, library science, information management. Master’s in library sciences would be an asset. You will also bring a minimum of 7 years of professional experience in analytical, research, or information specialist role preferably in a higher education setting. In addition, you will bring experience in managing a staff of prospect researchers in support of fundraising and alumni relations activities. You will bring a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a leading role managing a team in a fundraising context as well as management experience, preferably in a unionized environment.
