CFO is leading positive change and building value as Canada’s premier provider of trusted, family-farmed, safe high-quality chicken. Representing over 1,300 family farmers in the province, CFO is responsible for a growing, profitable and sustainable chicken industry.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Execute the Donor Relations Plan and Stewardship Program:

  • Meet or exceed annual goals by executing the donor solicitation program and marketing campaign delivery
  • Timely and efficient execution of the stewardship program including donor recruitment, acknowledgement, and recognition
  • Support the CFO Cares Donor (Farmer) Advisory Committee

Food Bank Chicken Donation Program Management: 

  • Responsible for developing, monitoring and updating the database as the data base administrator
  • Report on key program metrics including program participants, processor participants, products donated, volume and value of products donated
  • Coordinate deliveries and logistics with Ontario Association of Food Banks (OAFB) and non-OAFB members and processors
  • Administer donation invoicing, payment process and procedures

Relationship Management:

  • Key relationship manager with OAFB, local community food banks and participating processors
  • Represent CFO CARES at CFO meetings, and food bank events
  • Provide logistics and administrative support for events as required

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Post-secondary education (degree or diploma) in a related field.  Completion of a fundraising or event management certificate is an asset

Experience:

Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in an administrative or program management role

Technical Skills:

  • Strong user of standard tools – MS Windows, Office, SharePoint
  • Strong analytical, and data management skills

 

Competencies Required to Perform Role:

  • Excellent professional communication (written and interpersonal) skills with ability to present information concisely, accurately, and effectively
  • Exemplary attention to details with excellent planning, analytical, and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work successfully with multiple constituencies, both internal and external, in order to work toward and succeed in shared goals
  • Independent judgement in areas of time management, task prioritization, financial management and decision-making within a fast-paced, changing work environment
  • Proficiency with client relationship management databases and tools. Technical fluency required
  • Proven ability to take initiative and problem solve, project management is a strong asset
  • Available to occasionally work outside of standard business hours

 Other

  • Must have a valid Ontario Driver’s License
  • Bilingualism (English & French) considered an asset
  • Experience in agriculture industry considered an asset
