What We Will Do Together

  • Oversee the Accounts Payable process, including weekly cheque processing and ensuring appropriate authorizations and coding are in place
  • Resolve vendor inquiries and invoice and payment disputes
  • Monthly account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations
  • Other analysis and reporting tasks as requested, such as providing support for cash-flow projections, GST/HST/QST filing and T3010 preparation
  • Analysis and summary of data for ad-hoc project activities
  • Provide reporting and expense backup for department heads as required. Liaise with regional Finance Administrators and Fundraisers to address inquiries.
  • Provide support in daily activities for Staff Accountant
  • Maintain updated listings of current supplier contracts. Open mail and process bank deposits.
  • Oversee office equipment contracts and maintenance agreements; liaise with service providers as required. Maintain lease and rental agreements portfolio, record the corresponding regular payments.
  • Oversee procurement and purchasing process

  • Being a resourceful team player with the ability to work independently
  • Applying your experience in accounts payable, invoice processing and cheque preparation
  • Utilizing your excellent communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
  • Working with remote employees and offices
