Under the guidance of and reporting to the Director, Human Resources and Labour Relations, the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) provides human resources expertise to drive employee engagement and retention in the areas of recruitment, training, performance management, occupational health and safety, employee wellness and labour relations. Working closely with Program Managers, the HRBP manages a mix of strategic, operational and administrative priorities to ensure human resource programs further the organization’s goals, are consistent across the organization, respect human rights, and are in alignment with the collective agreement and legislative standards.
The successful candidate will have post-secondary education in a related discipline and be designated, or working towards designation, as a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR). Additionally, the successful candidate will have a minimum 5 years of human resources generalist experience, including labour relations and disability management, ideally within the non-profit and/or community service sectors. The successful candidate will have the ability to understand, communicate and support the mission and values of RainCity Housing, and the models/methods of supporting clients including the principles of Housing First and Harm Reduction. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered
