GGC is actively searching for a Product Coordinator.

The product:

GGC has recently built a new, interactive program platform where Members access evergreen, relevant and engaging activities for girls.  The platform is also interactive, providing instructional support, visual galleries, personal profile pages, as well as thousands of unit portals for groups to build and explore upcoming meetings, and track their progress towards badges and awards.  The platform was soft-launched in 2018 with 20,000 adult and 75,000 girl members. 

The role:

This position is an excellent early career role for an enthusiastic problem solver with diplomatic customer service skills.  In this role you will support GGC Members as they use this new technology tool on a regular basis and communicate new functionality to us that would improve their experience.  That means you’ll work directly with volunteers, parents and girls to ensure their needs are heard.  You will join development meetings to understand the cadence of new functionality deployments and manage the real-time online user chat available during workdays to support Members in real time.  You will represent the department at times during wider digital transformation initiatives and be trained in GGC’s digital systems. If you are a team player, a great communicator and have a desire to learn more about certain digital systems than this role is right for you!

You will also:

  • Pull reports in real-time and measure platform KPIs to ensure the platform is functioning well
  • Coordinate the uploading of new digital content from MS Word, as well as photos, pdfs and links to online content (ie. videos from GGC’s YouTube channel)
  • Join and contribute to our external digital partner meetings while representing the needs of Members and staff
  • Pull offline versions of the content database and distribute to Members without internet access
  • Collect and prioritize Member and internal stakeholder functionality requests with the
  • Identify and report bugs to our development partner, test solutions, and manage Member messaging regarding resolutions and expectations
  • Oversee the process of content translation from English to French with our translation partners
  • Manage our online ticketing system, including supporting members with registration, issues and connecting them with the supports they require
  • Support staff and volunteers with their training and access as they leverage the platform to meet their objectives
  • Oversee the communications needs for the platform both for internal and external stakeholders
  • Work as an integrated team member of the Member Experience team, serving organizational needs as required

You should apply if you have:

A post-secondary degree in a related field

  • At least 2 years’ experience working with online or technical products and supporting users
  • An appreciation and openness for feedback with a willingness to learn
  • Proven experience managing competing priorities and coordinating timelines and projects
  • The ability to work independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with strong interpersonal skills, resourcefulness, critical thinking and attention to detail
  • A self-starter attitude; highly self-motivated, with a fast-paced working style
  • Experience with Drupal, or other CMS software to show technical competence and exposure

Assets:

  • French language skills, knowledge of/experience with Guiding, experience with ZohoDesk and JIRA
