Position Overview

The ideal candidate is an experienced administrator with excellent interpersonal & technical skills, who interacts effectively with staff, Council members, committee members, and members of the College, among others. Professionalism, maturity, tact, flexibility, initiative and a willingness to undertake unfamiliar tasks occasionally are required. Fluency in both French and English is an asset for this position.

Key Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Responds to email and telephone inquiries from prospective members and other stakeholders, knowledgeably and in a timely manner;
  • Monitors the primary phone line and distributes inquires accordingly;
  • Provides organizational support for Council and Committee meetings, including food orders, room and technical set up and tear down, etc.;
  • Organizes technical requirements (AV, conferencing, etc) for all meetings and provides support;
  • Prepares meeting materials and packages in a timely manner for all scheduled meetings;
  • Provides basic technical support to prospective members related to our online application process
  • Monitors the Member Management System for inquires and distributes accordingly;
  • Manages assigned projects to completion and provides regular updates regarding project progressions;
  • Maintains multiple tracking systems for data analysis and review;
  • Manages received and outgoing College mail, and processes received transcripts;
  • Manages office supply orders by tracking inventory and following budget parameters;
  • Provides support for monthly financial reconciliations;
  • Exhibits exceptional customer service orientation and excellent attention to detail.

Experience/Skills:

Terms and Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position
