PAARC IS HIRING!
PAARC is seeking mature, confident, responsible, professional individuals to join our team as a full-time RN or RPN. We have two positions: one is a contract for 12 to 18 months in our Mississauga Halton Narcotics Strategy program, and the other is a full-time permanent position in our Community Withdrawal Management program. PAARC’s RN/RPNs will serve individuals who are using substances and wish to consider treatment options, including opiate replacement therapy. Our RN/RPNs will also serve clients in our smoking cessation program, along with counsellor / case managers from other PAARC programs.
The successful candidates will share office space in our central Mississauga office, and will travel around Mississauga and west Etobicoke to provide service. In addition to nursing and clinical work, contributing to inter-disciplinary assessment to PAARC clients in other programs will be a focus. This position offers a 35-hour work week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with evening work on Wednesdays, as scheduled, according to the needs of the program and partnership.
PAARC offers competitive benefits and an ongoing learning environment. We are a non-profit, community-based agency, providing comprehensive assessment, case management and treatment for substance abuse, concurrent disorders and problem gambling, working within a harm reduction philosophy and a wholistic approach.
Funding for this program is provided by the Province of Ontario, through the Mississauga Halton LHIN.
PAARC is an equal opportunity and inclusive employer. We invite applications from diverse population groups.
We invite applicants to contact us at (905) 629-1007, extension 227, if accommodation to participate in the application process is required.

We thank all applicants; however, only those who are selected for an interview will be contacted. PAARC uses the services of an external recruiter, and selected applicants may be contacted by The Healthy Futures Group for a telephone screening interview.
