POSITION TITLE:              1 Associate Director of Children’s Services  and 1  Associate Director of Youth and Adult Services

LOCATION:                         301 Lanor Avenue, Toronto, ON, M8W 2R1 and/or 432 Horner Avenue, Toronto, ON, M8W 2B2

HOURS OF WORK:            40 hours per week (work week flexibility required)

The Centre's efforts are directed toward improving the education and quality of lives of its students. Our mission is to contribute to the development of Canadian expertise in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) intervention by raising awareness and providing training and education to parents, professionals and the community.

REPORTS TO: New Haven’s Executive Director (ED) and Clinical Director of Programs and Services (CD)


  • Supervise  and train Instructors, Leads Instructors, Residential Instructor Therapists, Job Coaches, Clinical Co-ordinators, and/or placement students
  • Assist and or lead development of behaviour analytic training materials and workshops/ conference presentations and at the request of the ED/CD, represent New Haven at designated conferences
  • Conduct evaluation of designated staff and support performance goals
  • Develop, train, monitor, and evaluate academic goals and behavioural programming
  • Have experience in conducting functional behavioural assessments and functional analyses
  • Consults with Clinical Director regarding programming, staff performance, and/or community outreach
  • Communicate with parents/guardians and community agencies  re:  client development, skill acquisition, effective education, and assessment  and management of behavioural needs
  • Manage behavioural crises and adhere to ethical treatment practices
  • Understands Provincial and Federal regulations relative to behavioural programs, ethical treatment, and general educational requirements for students with disabilities.


BCBA required

Master’s degree in a related field (e.g., Behavioural sciences, Education, Developmental Disabilities)

Experience working within the developmental disability, mental health, social services, and education sector(s)

Minimum of 5 years supervisor and clinical experience
