Full-time, 35 hours per week September 2019

Reports to: Manager, InfoPeel and Service Pathways


As part of the InfoPeel team, the Coordinator will be responsible for day to day supervision of the InfoPeel team in delivering all programs within the department aligned with funder and organizational expectations. The incumbent is the Manager’s delegate when required.



The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make an impact and gain unique work experience by:

  • Provides supervision and direction to the InfoPeel and Service Pathways team, oversee the day-to-day operations of the programs
  • Leads the development of innovative and creative initiatives that meet local community needs
  • Utilizes a variety of techniques including coaching, modeling, active listening, observing, questioning, demonstrating and supporting to ensure team support and program quality
  • Works with the Manager and Information Technology contacts/consultants to address any gaps or create solutions to challenges
  • Coordinates scheduling including but not limited to, shift coverage, outreach opportunities, and other eligible time off requirements
  • Supervises and guides day-to-day practices to ensure team is working towards meeting organizational and funder outcomes and measures
  • Proactively works with the team to foster an environment and culture of learning and growth organizationally and engages in program evaluation
  • Monitors records and maintains program database and analyzes program usage and statistics

The successful candidate will:

  • Post-secondary education in Developmental Services Worker, Early Childhood Education, Social Work and/or studies in related human services area
  • Must have 2+ years of progressive direct supervision experience
  • Experience in related community and programs, 3 years minimum is preferred
  • Commitment to successfully complete AIRS certification training and certification examination within 2 years
  • Effective use of current technology including databases, and website maintenance
  • Clear English verbal and written communication skills, second language an asset
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation
  • Ability to work flexible hours and act independently
  • Possession of a valid Driver’s License, and a safe driving record and access to independent transportation
  • Acceptable criminal Reference Check
