PLASP Child Care Services is a charitable organization operating on a not-for-profit basis, providing high quality early learning and child care, for children up to 12 years of age. PLASP operates in more than 230 schools providing before school, lunch, and after school programs and 27 full-day early learning and child care centres.

The successful candidate will provide a full range of duties, including:

  • Manages event planning and meeting activities for PLASP Child Care Services
  • Creates and maintains Office Calendar and ensures appropriate room bookings and refreshments for meetings and events.
  • Supervises Support Services Staff and is back up.
  • Develops and monitors budget and forecast for related accounts.


  • A degree/diploma in Business Administration/Business
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a related position
  • Proven ability to work with staff members at all levels, volunteers and community representatives and to act as a team member
  • Ability to work independently and with a minimum of supervision
  • Self-motivated, flexible and cooperative
  • Awareness of the need for and respect of confidentiality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent computer skills including strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Displays diplomacy and sound judgment and takes initiative
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and determine priority
