We are the Head Office for Ontario overseeing 62 branches for a children’s and youth program, seeking an enthusiastic individual with strong interpersonal skills, comfortable working with senior associates and volunteers.

Reporting to the Executive Director, the successful candidate will support the day to day operation of the head office and its branches across Ontario. The successful candidate will serve as the first point of contact for the organization, managing the general email and receptionist functions. The successful candidate will also be responsible for providing administrative support as needed, including but not limited to performing all general administrative duties.


  • Purchase office supplies
  • Maintain organizational files and documents
  • Manage database
  • Process award applications and certificates
  • Manage the repair and maintenance of all office equipment
  • Alongside the Executive Director, perform basic bookkeeping tasks including paying bills, invoicing, assisting with the annual audit, and issuing charitable tax receipts
  • Assist with ensuring that all screening applications are complete for review by the Screening Coordinator
  • At the direction of the Executive Director, provide logistical and administrative support to the AGM Committee
  • Assist in any other events or tasks at the direction of the Executive Director as needed


  • Strong organizational, detail oriented skills
  • Superior verbal and written English communication capabilities
  • Excellent computer literacy including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in an office environment (ie. You understand how to use a photocopier and other office administration essentials)
  • An organized multi-tasker with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities and manage changing workflow
  • A team player who is self-motivated and pro-active, able to handle pressure and work constructively in ambiguous situations
  • Self-confident and mature, with experience and comfort relating to senior leaders and partners, both in person and over the phone or email
