WHO WE ARE:
Hillside is a community of between 250 - 300 people and a member church of the EMCC (Evangelical Missionary Church of Canada). Our demographic is both culturally and socio-economically diverse. The fastest growing segment includes both young families and children. The ethos of our church has been described as informal, warm and personal. Small group ministry has been an integral part of our community, along with ministries to both children and youth. Volunteer engagement is a growing part of our community experience.
We are looking for a Full Time Administrator / Bookkeeper who has strong administrative and communication skills with a solid grasp of bookkeeping practices (approx. 80% administrative and 20% bookkeeping). Reporting to the Associate Pastor, the successful candidate will manage & coordinate office procedures & short-term & long-term user group contracts, perform bookkeeping duties and oversee church publications, website & social media communication. Bookkeeping skills can be taught to the right candidate who has strengths in administration and analytical skills.
