Established in 1956 and trusted for over 63 years, Wavefront Centre for Communication Accessibility (operating name for Western Institute for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing) is a BC-based, charitable non-profit organization. Wavefront Centre serves over 14,000 Deaf and Hard of Hearing clients each year by delivering innovative services in the areas of Audiology, Counselling, Seniors Outreach, Sign Language Interpreting and Communication Devices to help clients achieve full communication accessibility.
Wavefront Centre is currently seeking a qualified candidate for the following position:
FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST - VANCOUVER, BC
Full-Time (5 days per week), Permanent Position
Start date: December 16, 2019
The Front Desk Receptionist works as part of a team to greet, welcome and direct visitors appropriately. Notifies Wavefront staff of visitor arrival. Responds to enquiries about Wavefront services, programs and products on a multi-line telephone, TTY and email. Reports directly to the Executive Assistant & Facility Manager.
