Summary of Position

We are currently seeking an energetic Junior Client Care Coordinator to bring great customer service skills combined with compassion to our team. The right candidate will support our Client Care team in arranging travel for patients in need. Work with a group of diverse team members in a fast-paced work environment. Keen listeners and quick learners are encouraged to apply.

This is a full-time position. The successful applicant will work from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday to Friday.

Location: Toronto (Close to Yonge & Davisville)

Start Date: ASAP – Posting open until role is filled.

Position Description:

Reporting to the Client Care Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Answer phone inquiries, providing information about Hope Air’s services to patients, social workers, healthcare workers and other interested parties
  • Taking travel requests over the phone, calling patients with their flight information, and corresponding with doctor offices and hospitals all over Canada to confirm medical appointments
  • Arranging air travel for patients with our airline partners
  • Supporting the Client Care Manager managing Hope Air’s Bridge/Ferry program
  • Communicating with a diverse group of people, including people with disabilities, newcomers to Canada, seniors, parents, social workers, and healthcare workers
  • Work closely with our Client Care volunteers and volunteer pilots
  • Participating in other duties as needed

Qualifications & Experience:

  • University degree and/or diploma
  • 1-2 years in customer service
  • Experience in social work an asset
  • Great interest in public health
  • Professional phone manners
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills as well detail-oriented
  • A go-getter who can work well as a member of a fast-paced team
  • Exceptional computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce, or other CRM systems
  • Bilingual (English/French) preferred
