The Director of Business Development (DBD) is responsible for expanding Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center’s business affairs relating to revenue generation.  Operating very much from the frame of mind of a Director of Development, the DBD focuses the majority of his/her attention on fundraising and expanding the base of donors for the organization. This includes attracting new donors, recovering lost donors and increasing giving for current donors. 

The DBD has a proven track record in generation of funds and proves this continuous at FSWC. The DBD focuses on establishing meetings with high net worth philanthropists and cultivates their giving and support of the organization. He is a self activator, an achiever and wants to bring results in order to assist the organization achieve its goals. 

In order to fulfill this critical mandate, the DBD also organizes donor events to build report with members and excite new ones about the importance of FSWC. Therefore, the DBD must be able to create and implement unique programs that will continue to attract our base of supporters.  The DBD may further assist the organization with negotiation of contracts relating to projects and programs.  

The success criteria for DBD will be determined by funds raised for the organization; an ability to execute donor programs and events and cultivation of donors through ongoing meetings and relationship building.
