Title: Program Manager, Supports and Services Department

Reports to: National Program Director

Position Overview

We are looking for a Program Manager to be responsible for planning and coordinating the development of projects for the Supports and Services Department. The Supports and Services Department is focused on creating access to supports and services needed by the autism community across Canada.  You will be tasked with the development and implementation of programs delivered by the Supports and Services department, including planning and managing both short- and long-term project timelines, budgets and reporting to support the organization's strategic direction. 

Program Manager Responsibilities

  • Development and implementation of programs delivered by the Supports and Services department
  • Overseeing timelines and budgets.
  • Developing an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
  • Reporting and evaluating short-term and long-term project goals.
  • Analyzing program risks.
  • Coordinating with cross discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project timeline.
  • Management of the ASC CONNECT virtual platform, Canada’s first multi-faceted platform to help the autism community get informed and engaged.
  • Management of the Autism Response Team, providing information, resources and navigation strategies for the autism community.
  • Management of the Family Services Community Grants program, a national funding program for service providers across Canada, including call for applications, review process, and reporting requirements.
  • Management of corporate and community partnership programs such as the Samsung x ASC Tablet Program, Sensory Friendly Environments, Autism Job Fairs, etc.
  • Other duties, as required


  • Post-secondary education in a related field.
  • 3+ years experience working in program management.
  • 5+ years experience working with individuals with autism.
  • Experience working with a charitable organization, volunteers and community partners.
  • Ability to form strong professional relationships with colleagues, community partners, constituents.
  • Experience developing detailed plan with objectives, timeline and budget.
  • Experience with risk management.
  • Reporting and evaluation experience using tools and techniques.
  • Familiarity with Raiser’s Edge an asset.
