BRAIN INJURY ALLIANCE
The Alliance is a British Columbia non-profit society with a mission to generate financial supports for charitable brain injury societies in BC. We are looking for a person to coordinate agency activities. Tasks include communications, development of internal systems, receipt and compilation of data, support to the board by preparing for meetings, taking minutes etc., the development of policy as instructed, financial management and other tasks reasonable in a high level administrative support position. The successful candidate will be a self-starter as this is the only paid position with the Alliance.
Candidates living in British Columbia will be strongly favoured for this position. Guaranteed internet connectivity and access to reasonably priced transportation are required. Work will be from a home office or other appropriate setting. This is a contract position and the successful candidate must ensure that their situation complies with CRA and Worksafe BC requirements. We estimate that the position will require approximately 400 hours of work annually with the greatest concentration of work during the months surrounding our June proposal reviews. The successful candidate will be available to travel for face to face meetings for 2 to 4 days at a time, typically in June and in October.
