Job Description:  Program Coordinator

Anduhyaun Inc. is seeking a Program Coordinator for a nine month contract with possibility of extension, under the supervision of the Executive Director, the Program Coordinator will perform program support and fundraising activities. During a standard 40 hour work week, the Program Coordinator will carry out her/his duties in strict adherence to Anduhyaun’s Confidentiality Policy and in a manner that is consistent with Anduhyaun’s Mandate.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage and execute Anduhyaun's annual events (AGM, Strawberry Moon Fundraiser, Online Campaigns, Donor Engagement Event)
  • Evaluate, Develop and Execute a Fund Development Plan
  • Execute grant submissions to those who align with our mandate
  • Develop and execute procedure for donor management using Sumac software
  • Liaise with Anduhyaun’s Fundraising Committee to ensure the commitment task and goals are successful
  • Administrative tasks- phone, minutes, follow-up, petty sash, budgeting
  • Stats gathering and reporting
  • Social media and direct email/online campaigns
  • Other projects and tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years relevant working experience or Diploma in Events, Fundraising or Fund Development
  • Ability to work within a strict budget
  • Experience with Sumac or another donor CRM is an asset
  • Experience in fundraising, grant writing, donor engagement and events
  • Excellent Microsoft suite, data base experience; telecommunication
  • Organization skills and time management
  • Communication – verbal and written
  • Experience in website maintenance is considered an asset Interpersonal skills
  • Leadership experience g. committee lead is an asset
  • Willingness to cross train and learn housing processes
  • Process or ability to obtain a CPIC
  • Commitment to representing Anduhyaun accurately and appropriately
  • Current driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle, a definite asset
