The College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) is a statutory regulatory body, established in 2015 under the Psychotherapy Act 2007.  Its mandate is to regulate psychotherapists in the public interest, striving to ensure that members are competent, ethical and accountable. The candidate must have excellent interpersonal & technical skills, who interacts effectively with staff, Council members, committee members, and members of the College, among others. Professionalism, maturity, tact, flexibility, initiative and a willingness to undertake unfamiliar tasks occasionally are required.

Major Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Respond to general QA inquires and provide support on general practice advisory content
  • Prepare and present case files and materials for QA panel meetings
  • Retrieve, organize and analyzes data as it relates to the QA program
  • Manage ongoing activities of the peer and practice program
  • Research and write draft policy for deliberation at the QA Committee level


  • 3-5 years experience working in a regulatory body
  • Prior working experience in Quality Assurance considered a strong asset
  • Understands key concepts in regulation, including risk and fairness.
  • Able to work in a dynamic environment and can recognize shifts in priorities
  • Employs effective verbal and written communication skills with colleagues and other stakeholders which may include committee members and the public. For example, is able to recognize the needs of the audience and modify communications to match these needs.
  • Demonstrates intermediate proficiency in Word and Excel

The Quality Assurance Coordinator position is being offered as a full-time salaried position. Strong French and English language skills are considered an asset.
