(1) Temporary Full-Time Position – One (1) Year – Maternity Leave Replacement  

 

Under the responsibility of the Seniors Services Branch, the incumbent is responsible for coordinating the programs offered at the Guigues Service Centre (CSG) in order to provide quality services to seniors. The incumbent provides leadership and guidance to all CSG staff members. He or she is responsible for planning, organizing, supervising and evaluating program activities by ensuring compliance with the organization's policies and procedures and by promoting the establishment and maintenance of effective working relationships. It works with community partners to continually improve the quality of services.

 

Requirements:

  • University degree in social work or a related field. A master's degree would be considered an asset;
  • Two (2) to five (5) years of experience in similar positions and responsibilities with seniors;
  • Experience in facilitating groups of people;
  • Experience in program evaluation and change management in programs;
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills;
  • Flexibility and flexible approach;
  • Good personnel management skills;
  • Excellent oral and written communication in both French and English at a superior level;
  • Ability to solve problems and conflicts;
  • Superior interpersonal skills with staff at all levels, clients and community partners;
  • Knowledge of public policies and networks in mental health for seniors.
