Junior Graphic Designer

Reports to:         Brand Manager

Supervises:        n/a

Job Summary

This position will help to develop and design content for Alzheimer Society of Ontario. Reporting to the Brand Manager, the Junior Graphic Designer will work to create design collateral for the Marketing and Fundraising team, the programs team and partners in the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work with the Fundraising and Marketing team to design and produce print & digital collateral pieces such as flyers, ads, invitations, annual reports, event programs, website updates, digital banners for ASiO.
  • Respond to tickets through the Fund Development ticketing system in a timely manner and create design elements for local societies.
  • Create social media updates/graphics.
  • Schedule social media posts for ASiO.
  • Provide desktop publishing support for staff.
  • Responsible for project management from inception to post-production.

Job Qualifications


  • Post-Secondary Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, or related field.


  • 1 year of experience working with a team to produce creative concepts

Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office and Mac OS operating system
  • Web design and development is an asset but not required
  • Ability to design for responsive websites and emails
  • Strong verbal, visual and written communication skills
  • Strong time-management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects at once
