Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, Quality and Risk, the Marketing & Communications Coordinator will plan, produce, and oversee the execution of marketing and communication activities, including internal & external communication, agency social media presence/ campaigns, and website. She/ he will be responsible for the design and delivery of marketing collateral materials in alignment with the agency brand strategy, using a variety of mediums to deliver internal and external messages, including but not limited to print, on line and video.

Position Responsibilities:

 Corporate Communication

  • Develop & execute detailed communication plans that get the right message to the right audience at the right time
  • Provide organization-wide e-communication support
  • Provide leadership and support for internal communication
  • Prepare corporate newsletters, memorandums, announcements, toolkits and communication guidelines
  • Contribute to the planning, writing and production of general and specific content for the agency communication vehicles
  • Draft and implements crisis communication plans
  • Assist leaders in developing ad hoc strategic communication plans, identifies strategic outcomes, stakeholders, messages, tactics and measures

Marketing Collateral Design

  • Generate marketing materials for internal and external communication ensuring that written and visual content of all marketing material and communication is consistent, captivating, and reflects the Lumacare brand.
  • Support teams by coordinating and collating content, developing marketing materials, creating and managing deliverables while ensuring that branding consistency is achieved
  • Design, execute, and distribute brand consistent marketing collateral that includes but is not limited to: flyers, posters, banners, brochures, web & social posts, videos, car wraps, one-pagers, branded email, newsletter.

Social Media/ On-Line Presence

  • Create quality content and lead meaningful engagement throughout all existing social media asset, blogs and web updates
  • Track and analyze web and social media channel performance
  • Manage & maintain a social media calendar, ensuring proactive posts of relevant information, recognition of significant dates
  • Ensure Lumacare’s presence and leadership on=-line, driving active following of relevant audience
  • Actively monitor and manage Lumacare’s on-line reputation, including content on
  • Lead and deliver SEO activities to increase traffic

 Requirements for the position include:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a Marketing or Graphic Design role
  • Completion of Post-Secondary education in Marketing, Communication or Graphic Design.
  • Exceptional verbal and written skills in English language; proficiency in other languages an asset.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse groups
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Social Media and Design Software’s (In Design, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Creative Self-Starter
  • Ability to effectively work independently and/or part of a team
  • Strong sense of Accountability
  • Able to receive feedback and passionate about continuous learning
  • Current Police check will be required and must have been completed within last 12 months.
