REGIONAL SUPERVISOR – INDIGENOUS SERVICES
Two Full Time Positions Available
Positions will be located at one of these sites:
Thunder Bay, Sault Ste. Marie, Ottawa, Sudbury, Toronto or London
The Ontario Aboriginal HIV/AIDS Strategy has consistently evolved to respond to the changing epidemic within the Aboriginal/Indigenous population of Ontario. We are governed by an Indigenous Board of Directors with representation from across the province (North, South, East & West). We provide cultural services to our urban Indigenous communities that promote Indigenous ways of knowing and the restoration of individual, family and community natural protective factors. We are currently looking to hire two (2), full-time, Regional Supervisors to strengthen our client base and supervise service delivery staff within regional communities.
Preference will be given to applicants with a diploma or degree in a relevant field and/or a combination of related experience combined with people supervision experience. Strong planning, organizational and decision-making skills combined with expertise in Microsoft Office Suite are essential. Ability to work outside regular working hours is required and regular travel throughout the province. A valid Ontario G driver’s license, reliable vehicle and relevant insurance are required. The ability to speak an Indigenous language is an asset.
