Reporting to the Area Manager the Program Supervisor will be responsible for the day to day operation of residence which will provide housing and supports for Adults with Developmental Disabilities.


A post-secondary education in the social sciences; three years experience in the field, one of which should be in a supervisory capacity.


  • Direct, maintain and control all program and administrative operations for the residence.
  • Comply with all policies, procedures and directives and all relevant legislation related to residential services for youth.
  • Submit required financial statements, census information and requested documentation as per schedules.
  • Develop and maintain all program staff personnel records of employment.
  • Develop or assist in the development of Policies and Procedures as needed.
  • Approve all staff work schedules, time off, performance evaluations, supervision as recommended.
  • To ensure that programs are developed and implemented to meet the individual needs of the youth served.
  • To participate in regular supervision with the Director of Residential Services/Area Manager and in annual performance evaluation related to this job description.
  • Utilize opportunities to represents the agency by attending workshops, lectures, community activities, etc.
  • Implement all phases of program development/design with the Director of Services.
  • Development of new programs and potential areas of growth for the division.
  • Respond to the needs of contracting agencies or Ministries as it pertains to the program.
  • On-call responsibilities as required.
  • Represent O.F.G.H in a professional manner and adhere to the confidentiality policies at all times.
  • Maintain all documentation within the program. 
  • Perform all other duties assigned as directed by the Program Director, Area Manager or Director of Services.
  • Ensure the program is following QAM legislation and ensure licensing is completed on an annual basis.
