Are you passionate about supporting parents, children and the well-being of families? Do you believe in creating safe, warm and inviting environments where families can learn and grow together?

Cecil Community Centre is a not-for-profit, multi-service neighbourhood centre that offers a broad range of recreational, educational, social, cultural, and capacity-building programs to area residents. For 40 years, the Centre has played a vital role in the lives of community members of all ages. Our centre provides programs and services for children, youth, adults and seniors.

EarlyON Child and Family Centres support all children, parents and caregivers in learning, growing and connecting together. Our Child and Family Resource Centre embraces Ontario’s renewed vision for Early Learning where all children and families have access to a wide range of inclusive quality services and supports they can access. Our Centre is rooted in the local community and serves as an Early Years Hub for parents and families.

Cecil Community Centre believes that children are competent, capable of complex thinking, curious and rich in potential. We believe in the capacity of parents to raise resilient, health, successful people, but we were never meant to raise children alone.

The Cecil Community Centre EarlyON Family Resource Program is a part of the support system that families need to do the most important work of parenting. We recognize that parents are the experts of their children and know them best. Inviting and encouraging parents to participate, share, network and get involved in our EarlyON program is an important element of the family-centred environment we aim to create.
