Founded in 2001 by mathematician and playwright Dr. John Mighton, JUMP Math is an award-winning charity. Our mission is to help all children achieve their full potential by encouraging a deep understanding and a love of math in students and educators and using math class as an opportunity to build the social and emotional skills required for long-term academic and life success.

Our evidence-based K-8 classroom resources and professional development for teachers transform the learning experience.  Math better predicts academic success than reading and attention skills, increasing the likelihood that students will graduate from high school, go on to college and university and lead fulfilling lives.

JUMP Math has embarked on an ambitious growth strategy to transform mathematics teaching and learning in Canada, the United States and internationally.  If you’d like to expand your horizons and leverage your creativity with a small (yet mighty) team, JUMP Math is for you!
