The Donnée Group is a full-service data-driven marketing agency. We are leading provider of direct marketing and consulting services to the Canadian non-profit sector. Working with a diverse client base including national health charities, social welfare organizations and community hospital foundations we are adept at developing appeals for specific markets and audiences in both English and French from our office in Toronto’s vibrant Kensington Market.

Job purpose:

Partnering with clients to develop strategy, execute and evaluate direct response fundraising appeals that help raise money to: cure cancers, protect the environment, build homes for families in need, fund the purchase of hospital equipment and support many other great causes.

In this role you can expect to:

  • Collaborate directly with senior leaders at Canadian nonprofits
  • Provide strategic fundraising support for worthwhile causes
  • Develop and apply expertise in in direct-response fundraising

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Act as the primary client contact, ensuring continued progress of campaign workflow
  • Ensure that all projects are completed on-time and on-budget
  • Managing day-to-day campaign execution
  • Work with team members on the development of Annual Plans, Campaign Strategy, Budgets and Results Reporting
  • Actively communicate with key client stakeholders
  • Be the expert on your client’s: creative and writing style, project status and results

Skills and Experience:

  • Post-Secondary Graduate from a Business, Fundraising, Marketing or similar program
  • 0-4 years relevant professional experience
  • Creative thinker and problem solver
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills; able to listen, understand, and communicate effectively and confidently
  • Strong organizational skills, able prioritize multiple tasks and independently manage their time effectively
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to work independently with limited supervision
  • A self-starter with an ongoing awareness and responsiveness to client needs
  • Technically competent and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of French considered an asset
