Job Summary

The Fundraising Sales Manager reports to the Director, Fundraising Sales and is a key member of the Fundraising Sales team. The Fundraising Sales Manager acts as the bridge between the Senior Management team, our client (BC Cancer Foundation), and Engagement Specialists. The Fundraising Sales Manager is responsible to ensure branding, mandates and sales goals are clearly understood, followed and executed in a positive and motivational manner. This position will lead the coordination of the Fundraising Sales team for all events produced by CauseForce within the province, and will provide the opportunity to work closely with some of the most highly regarded charities and foundations in the world, in a fun, fast-paced and highly rewarding environment.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Train, coach and motivate Sales Staff to meet and exceed sales targets in a collaborative team environment
  • Successfully meet pre-defined goals and budgets as created by the Senior Management and client
  • Develop Sales or Fundraising strategy to achieve operations targets
  • Find opportunities and new ways to engage participants, clients and increase the bottom line
  • Work alongside Marketing to develop integrated strategy to achieve goals and targets
  • Collaborate with Marketing to ensure campaign objectives are executed by staff
  • Manage data analysis and provide recommendations to improve processes and drive efficiencies
  • Assist in development of new business proposal and client relationships
  • Monitor performance trends, analyze results and report back to the Director, Fundraising Sales and Client
  • Lead operational functions including IT, donation operations, and aspects of HR management, such as employment contracts, payroll, employee expense reimbursements
  • Identify cost savings measures and conduct cost benefit and needs analyses
  • Make phone calls as required both in a training/coaching capacity as well as in a business-as-usual capacity to ensure targets are met

Required Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of Sales/Fundraising Management experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education is preferred
  • Experience working with a large revenue portfolio
  • Experience working directly with clients
  • Proven work experience coaching and leading a sales team
  • Proficient in managing and reporting sales analytics
  • Exemplary communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively
  • Must have a full Driver's License
  • Prior experience within a fundraising or non-profit space or in events is a plus

  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of marketing and business skills, including budgeting experience and financial competence; Computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Creating marketing campaigns and plans across multiple platforms; Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attendance/Punctuality: Ensures work responsibilities are covered on time through effective planning and strategizing
  • Accountability and Dependability: Ability to work in an independent and self-directed manner and hold themselves accountable to the team and the goals; Accepts personal responsibility for task fulfillment and job performance; Willingness to work event weekends

Salary

$60,000 - $65,000/year
