Nellie’s operates a 40 bed shelter for women and children who are homeless and leaving violence and provides community support for women living in the community. Nellie’s is a community based feminist women’s organization committed to social justice and anti-oppression.
We require a casual/on-call relief cook who is responsible for the preparation of the evening meal for 40 shelter residents. This position is for occasional weekday, weekends and statutory holidays as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
Hours: Monday – Friday 1-6pm and weekend availability
Rate of Pay: 17.15/hr.
