About Us

Westminster Court is a 190 unit not for profit residence for seniors able to live independently. We are located in east Mississauga at 4150 Westminster Place in the Rathburn Road and Tomken Road area.

Westminster Court provides affordable housing for seniors with low to moderate incomes who are able to live independently in the community. We enable tenants to participate in a safe, active Westminster community and we will support our tenants’ changing needs and respond to increasing demand by enabling them to independently access third party service providers.

Our Vision is to upgrade Westminster Court’s facilities and serve a greater number of low to moderate income seniors by 2022.

Westminster Court (legal name St. Luke’s Dixie Seniors Residence Corp.) has been in operation for over 35 years. We are embarking on work to both upgrade our existing building and significantly expand the number of units we offer. We deal with the Region of Peel, the City of Mississauga as well as professional planners, architects and specialized contractors.

Westminster Court is seeking volunteer Board members who possess knowledge and experience in the following areas:

  • Property management
  • Government relations
  • Finance/Accounting
  • Human Resources

This is an exciting time for Westminster Court and there is plenty of opportunity for the right individual to contribute and to be rewarded through professional growth, dealing with dedicated and like-minded professionals and to experience the reward of knowing that you are helping to provide housing for over two hundred seniors, many of whom would otherwise not have a safe place to call home.

Expected Contribution

Board members are expected to commit approximately 6-10 hours per month to Westminster Court activities including preparation of material for and attendance at monthly Board meetings as well as other work / meetings related to the facilities upgrade and possible expansion.
