              Adminstrative Assistant Volunteer


ASSISTED LIVING SOUTHWESTERN ONTARIO is accepting applications for

 an administrative assistant volunteer position within the Fundraising Department at ALSO.


ALSO is seeking a volunteer to work within an administration office.


  • Work as a team member to strengthen existing partnerships
  • Use skills and knowledge to enhance fundraising initiatives
  • Attend regularly scheduled hours weekly (3 to 4 hours ~ Once per week)
  • Provide administrative assistance during office hours


  • A high level of administrative, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Fundraising experience is an asset
  • Ability to communicate the ALSO mission and strategic directives
  • Ability to work well independently and as a co-operative team member
  • Communicates effectively with others
  • Strong computer knowledge is an asset
  • Possess excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Possesses exemplary customer service skills



  • This is a volunteer role – 12 hours per month
  • Practice using high level skills and give back to our community
  • Gain leadership experience
  • Use and gain administrative skills
  • Build relationships and network with donors
