We are looking to grow our roster of amazing volunteers for our upcoming 2019-2020 season!

Are you passionate about the arts and interested in supporting your local dance community? Come join us at The Dance Centre and support BC dance as a volunteer! Volunteers have the opportunity to learn about exciting initiatives for dance, gain experience with a non-profit arts organization and make connections with artists and other arts advocates in the community.

A Dance Centre volunteer has great communication and organization skills, is punctual, responsible, reliable, engaged, friendly, and enjoys working with the public. Ideally, volunteers would be able to commit to a minimum 5 shifts during the season.

Organization Description

From cutting edge works to the rich traditions of dances from all cultures, The Dance Centre is dedicated to the development of the art of dance in British Columbia. We offer public performances in our beautiful building, Scotiabank Dance Centre, special events as well as resources and programs supporting the professional development of dance creators. We are a non-profit organization and a registered charity.
