4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Join Habitat for Humanity GTA for the sweetest event of the year – Gingerbread Build! We need many event set-up volunteers to help with event preparations.  Habitat for Humanity Greater Toronto Area (Habitat GTA) is a non-profit housing organization that mobilizes volunteers and communities to help working, lower income families build strength, stability, and self-reliance through affordable homeownership.  

 Duties & Responsibilities

Event tasks will include but not limited to:

  • Load and unload Gingerbread houses and candy boxes
  • Clean up the space and prepare for next day
  • Move around tables and chairs
  • Set up outdoors and parking signs
  • Set up various signage and window decals

Qualifications:

  • Volunteers with event experience are preferred, however, the willingness to “think on your feet” and strong teamwork skills are key.
  • Ability to lift up to 20lb as there will be some moving around at the set-up.
  • Minimum age : 16 years
