Caribbean Street Food Festival
The Caribbean Street Food Festival is a community event run twice a year to celebrate delicious food from across the Caribbean islands. We invite people from all backgrounds to the event to sample a wide variety of foods and drinks, play games that are popular in the islands, and shop for cultural items in our marketplace.
The summer event will be taking place on Saturday, August 31, 2019 from 11am to 7pm at Daniel's Spectrum in Regent Park at 585 Dundas Street East.
We are looking for people to help out at the event in a number of roles listed below. And don't worry - you don't have to be Caribbean to volunteer!
**We welcome all volunteers regardless of their race, religion, color, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, age, or status as an individual with a disability.**
All volunteers will get a free Caribbean meal cooked by our VIP chef, an opportunity to wander through the event and sample the foods, the opportunity to meet new friends while you volunteer, and we will happily provide a confirmation letter for those who need proof of their volunteer hours!
