You Are:

- Looking for a volunteer opportunity where you can share your talents and skills with our clients
- Interested in mentoring adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to be successful in their community
- Comfortable working in groups as well as one to one
- Interested in making a difference in your community

Volunteers are needed for 1 scheduled shift on either Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 3:30

Duties and activities to be performed by volunteer:

-Provide support to staff; be paired with client during group activities and be additional support while staff facilitate curriculum or program/behaviour plans.
-Clean-up program area
-Participate in brief and de-brief with team to discuss plans for the day and special accommodations for clients
-Cover staff lunch breaks and support staff to client ratio during program
-Support team as needed and engage with clients during program.

Knowledge, Skills, Talents required:
-Enthusiastic, flexible and energetic. Experience with adults with autism is valued but not required.
