Neon Nights: Planning Committee Position Description

 

CNIB Neon Nights is a fundraising golf event in support of the CNIB Foundation. This pledged-based community event supports innovative programs and powerful advocacy that empower people impacted by blindness to live their dreams while tearing down barriers to inclusion.

 

Position:

CNIB Neon Nights Committee Member  

 

Objective:

Critical to the success of CNIB Neon Nights GTA, the Committee works closely with CNIB Lead to ensure the execution of the event tasks in each area are accomplished successfully.

Responsibilities & Tasks:

  • Plan and execute a 10K event
  • Take a leadership role within the committee and ensure its thorough execution:
  • Corporate Relations/ Sponsorships
  • Golfer Recruitment/ Marketing  
  • Media/ Public Relations  
  • Activities/ Entertainment  
  • Guest Experience/ VIP/ Follow Up
  • Logistics/ In Kind Procurement

  • Reliable

Commitment:

  • 5 to 10 hours per month  
  • 5-8 hours on-site on the event day
  • Agree to abide by CNIB’s Volunteer Code of Conduct, including policies and procedures.
