The Riverwood Conservancy (a charitable not-for-profit) provides programs and direction for Riverwood - the 150-acre, urban nature preserve situated on the shores of the Credit River in Mississauga. Working together with like-minded groups and individuals, our mission is to enable people of all cultures, ages, and abilities to respectfully connect with nature and learn about the importance of protecting, conserving and restoring natural spaces for the well-being of future generations - all while experiencing the beauty of the Riverwood gardens and views of the Credit Valley.

Do you like to work outdoors? Looking for a healthy, invigorating activity this summer, while still in school or recently graduated? You are cordially invited to assist The Riverwood Conservancy (TRC) in tending and maintaining the gardens and natural areas of Riverwood during the summer!

Volunteer in the natural areas, including removal of invasive plants, light trail maintenance, and other conservation projects that will maintain TRC's beautiful, natural environment.  Tend the gardens, including deadheading, weeding, and watering.  Be available to assist at times in the set-up or take-down of TRC special events.
