Seeking volunteers available to assist with research studies in the Trauma and Emergency Department and/or with health information data entry in the Injury Prevention Research Office at St. Michael's Hospital. St. Michael’s Hospital is one of two Level 1 adult trauma centres in the GTA. It is also a teaching hospital with the University of Toronto, Faculty of Medicine.
We are looking for highly motivated, detail-oriented and reliable individuals to contribute one 8-hour shift per week. We ask that volunteers be able to commit to the role for a minimum of 6-12 months. Tasks include (but are not limited to) screening and enrolling patients into clinical trials in the trauma unit; data collection and entry; consenting of subjects; interviewing subjects for injury prevention/surveillance project.
