Riverdale Immigrant Women’s Centre (RIWC) is a charitable organization with a mandate to serve those facing diverse barriers in their community.

Riverdale Hub is co-located with Riverdale Immigrant Women’s Centre and is a co-working space, event space and art gallery space in Toronto's Little India


We are looking for a volunteer to assist the program coordinator with daily program tasks for the Women in the Garden program.

The Women in the Garden program is a free program that focuses on isolated or otherwise marginalised women to gain more autonomy over their well-being through a range of programming including twice-weekly yoga and educational workshops focused on nutrition, gardening, health, and general wellbeing. The intent is to empower the women participants with knowledge and skills which can improve their health and social well-being.

Days: Tuesdays and Thursday

Hours: 10:30 AM - 1:30 PM (Timings can be flexible)

Duration: Short or Long Term Opportunity

  • Basic understanding of Google Drive, Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Friendly
  • Enjoy working with people
  • Being able to speak Urdu/Punjabi as an additional language will be preferred
