Position description:

We are seeking the help of a volunteer to assist us with a range of digital marketing efforts including co-creating a social media plan, creating a content calendar, updating our social media marketing posts with approved material, and creating and editing 1-5 minute video clips for our social media accounts.

In terms of the video, you will be responsible for trimming and editing video footage segments from our webinars, potentially adding graphics and effects to highlight our other educational resources.

This position is project based as we are currently launching a new project and updating our site, but may result in additional volunteer responsibilities for the right candidate on our wwwdpi.org website and related organizational social media channels.

Deliverables/Duties:

ASAP - draft social media plan and content calendar

Ongoing - updating social media posts, video clips for social media.

Qualifications:

Experience using Hootsuite, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn for an organization

Ideally you have video editing skills. Don't have video editing skills, don't worry! We will provide training and supervision for the right candidate.

Additional Information:

Volunteers are provided with reimbursement of bus tickets for work being carried out at the office. Volunteers are also noted in our annual report and may request reference letters.
