Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada is the largest and only all-Canadian wish granting charity dedicated to granting wishes to Canadian children between the ages of 3 and 17 who are diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. For more than 30 years, Children’s Wish and our volunteers have worked tirelessly to grant over 25,000 children and their families a heartfelt wish – each is as unique as the child making it.

Does the role of Wish Cloud Team Member match your experience, skills and interests?

The role of Wish Cloud Team Member will act as a representative of Children’s Wish Foundation in their local community by:

  • Working collaboratively with a team of volunteers towards local business engagement and the development and maintenance of new partnerships with the purpose of driving fundraising
  • Sharing and tracking detailed information of correspondence and results at both the local and Chapter level
  • Speaking on behalf of Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada locally to help strengthen existing and help to build new local relationships.

Skills and Experience:

  • Established community network of existing relationships, and experience and willingness to build new ones on behalf of Children’s Wish Foundation
  • Experience in sales or marketing is an asset
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and confident with public speaking
  • Strong organization skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to respond timely to new opportunities

Time Commitment:

  • 1-2 hours a week working in collaboration with local volunteers and your staff partner (including some daytime availability for communication)
  • Evening and weekend availability for local meetings as required
  • A minimum one year commitment to the role
