The special event volunteers will be an "as needed"  position for the various events we have throughout the year. The special event volunteers willl assist the Volunteer Services and Special Event Coordinator with tasks before and during the events. The volunteer will act as an ambassador of The Salvation Army during the events and work to deliver key messaging and mission of company.


  • Assist in the days before events with wrapping gifts, organizing rsvp list, answering inquries and other clerical duties
  • Help with set up and decorations involved in the events
  • Help with registration and order of events during the event
  • Help serving food during the events
  • Assiting staff with various duties during the event such as AV



  •  Ability and maturity to work independently and under minimum supervision
  • Diploma/background in Special Events and or Hospitality is an asset
  • Possess good leadership skills
  •  Reliable and punctual
  • Able to work Volunteer BBQ coming up in July. Date to be finalized*
  • Networking & meet new people
  • Build resume and gain valuabe references
  • Give back to the community!
