As the BC Cancer Foundation celebrates our 11th year as a participating charity in the Scotiabank Half Marathon & 5K on Sunday, June 23, and we are hosting a water station on the half marathon course! We are looking to fill 30 volunteer spots.  Details as follows:

Date: Sunday, June 23rd 2019

Time: 7:00 AM – 10:30 AM (end time approx.)

Location:  Water Station #4 – NW Marine Drive and Spanish Banks (‘West Parking Lot A’)

Parking is free! First come, first serve

Volunteers are asked to arrive by 7:00 AM, so that you will receive your t-shirt and short briefing, before helping to set up the water station. Volunteers assist in setting up tables, tents and signage, preparing the water and electrolytes on the tables and providing it to participants while cheering them on! Then tearing down the water station area after all the runners have passed. (E.g. raking up and bagging energy gel wrappers, drink cups and other garbage; dismantling tables, tents, signage, etc.)
